I am so glad Dave Pelzer wrote a follow-up to "A Child Called 'it'" as I wanted to know so much more about the path that Dave would travel on after getting removed from his mother's home. It is still heartbreaking to see that after saved from abuse his life was a continuation of struggle despite having temporary love from different foster parents. Great and important read.
