I wasn't expecting to like this but I can't wait to find out what happens next!!
I usually don't like anything really historical and in ways this book reminded me of The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig but mostly just with the time travel and a female lead.
I really enjoyed the other aspects of this book like the fact that they are on a mission and the focus is more on that which makes the historical stuff bearable for me... I usually find it quite boring or repetitive but this one has ca ...more

My second attempt getting back to YA fantasy (the other being Graceling). Oh how I missed Katsa. I'm not going to believe teenage girls are this idiotic, I hope they're not.
