I wasn't expecting to like this but I can't wait to find out what happens next!!

I usually don't like anything really historical and in ways this book reminded me of The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig but mostly just with the time travel and a female lead.

I really enjoyed Ruby Red and the idea of time traveling. I still have a couple of questions that I hope are answered in the next book. It was interesting and unique. I truly liked this book very much. I could give it five stars, however, there are parts that can be better.

That is until she gets dizzy and a stomach cramp sends her spiraling into the past.

So Gwyneth replaces Charlotte in the middle of the secret society that she knows nothing about. She

My second attempt getting back to YA fantasy (the other being Graceling). Oh how I missed Katsa. I'm not going to believe teenage girls are this idiotic, I hope they're not. Gwyneth Shepherd is introduced to us as an unlikely time traveler, but I wasn't expecting her to be this terrible, even when she's actually being the "ruby". Her best friend, the one who's only there for information dump, looks like she'd do a better job. Gwyneth is only bothered about what the idiot thinks of her (I've legi ...more
