Another charming Regency novel by the lovely Miss Jane Austen. I’ll be reading this many times over the years. I found Catherine a delightful sort of character, leading quite the eclectic cast in a beautiful abbey.

I had read this book a long time ago and liked it but honestly I had forgotten much of the story line. As I was rereading it I fell in love with the characters and story line once again. You have all the usual suspects in a good Jane Austen novel the hero, the heroine, the evil friend and the beloved friend and a few side stories to add to the plot. Jane Austen's sense of humor is great as always, but I didn't like the characters or the storyline very much, so only 3 stars for this one.
