Another charming Regency novel by the lovely Miss Jane Austen. I’ll be reading this many times over the years. I found Catherine a delightful sort of character, leading quite the eclectic cast in a beautiful abbey.

I don't think I'm ever going to love the Classics genre but I'll always have a soft spot for Jane Austen. This is the only of her stories where I don't remember the film (I think I watched it when I was very young) so I got to experience the book fresh. It felt like a simpler story and I started to get impatient in places where I felt like not a lot was really happening, but I can't deny Austen's trademark wit is there and it was interesting to see where it all began.
