I thought this book was right on target for its young audience. It was a simple and educational introduction to the (horrors of the) holocaust. Children who find their interest peaked by the story can then delve farther into the topic. It was also interesting in that it dealt with the Danish aspect of the holocaust - a country rarely (if ever) considered when thinking/reading/teaching about it.
