What Members Thought
Before I started reading the book, I read/heard both nice and bad things about the book so I was kind of neutral. Plus, a lot has been written about the Discworld series so I had to give it a try. Unfortunately, there was noone around to tell me that I shouldn't start the series with this particular book.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved following Rincewind and Twoflower on their bumbling adventures. Wondering when and where the Luggage would show up was also fun. I can't wait to find out what happens next to Rincewind.

This was my first true Pratchett experience. I must say I did find the book very funny and I enjoyed reading it. However I did find it hard to follow at times with some of the POV jumps and general silliness going on. I've heard this is a hard book to start with but you need it to explain other things in the series.
