A new favorite! I’ve read Kevin Hearne before, so I knew to expect wit, humor, and chaos—and Hounded delivered all that and more. The story follows Atticus, a centuries-old Iron Druid who’s somehow still relatable and sharp-witted as ever. He’s tangled in ancient pacts, hunted by a Faerie lord, and surrounded by the most bizarre allies you can imagine: a vampire and a werewolf duo (who happen to be his lawyers), a scheming witch, and a shapeshifting crow who serves the dead.

What a great start to a series! It had me laughing most of the way through the book! Love the characters, but especially Oberon!
While the story itself is pretty hard core UF, the mood seems almost lighthearted. Atticus seems very comfortable with himself, so there isn't any tortured, redemption seeking going on. And, he is a bit snarky - I love snarky characters!!
Will definitely read more of this series. I would read them one after another, if I could make them work for challenges!! ...more

I had a hard time getting some momentum going with this book, but once I started making headway, I really liked it. I'm going to continue the series.

5* for the pure enjoyment this story delivered. Chock full of all kinds of mythical creatures, an engaging storyline, and delightful humorous writing. I thought all the characters were great! Especially enjoyed the humor of Oberon the Dog.

Such a great book! Atticus has tons of humor but doesn't come off as a smart ass. He knows when to keep his mouth shut. His Irish wolfhound, Oberon, is great too. His current idol is Genghis Khan and he want's a harem of french poodles! lol. I love the relationship between the two. Atticus shows affection for Oberon and proves he more than just a faithful sidekick. The whole section with the cops at his business I felt was too easy cleaned up. Over all, I couldn't put this down. I snuck reading
