I gave this book four stars, but in reality I am deeply ambivalent about it. On the one hand we have a book that is full of cliches (How can something so wrong feel so right - really?!), contains needlessly explicit scenes of a sexual nature and tries to normalise a relationship that is inherently unnatural. On the other hand, we have a tragic story about two teens who have been forced into an abnormal and damaging situation by a neglectful alcoholic mother, and the only people they have to turn

I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would. Maybe the writing, or the way the story was written... I don't know. The concept was amazing, but there's something missing for me.
