What Members Thought
This is the umpteenth re-read of a beloved book. It's the only YA series all of whose books I really love. Its combination of a complex heroine, daemons, armored bears, zeppelins and balloons, gyptians, multiple universes, theology, witches, the villains with their complicated desires - it's all heady, and for a piece of children's literature (that I've read), completely other.
