I really felt for Marta when she was a girl. I did not like Marta very much when she became an adult. She became such a very strong woman who always knows her way that somehow it made it not real. She has done things that really have shown her dark side. You would think that she had learned from her childhood.
Our pasts shape us of who we are. Most of us don't want to do mistakes that our parents make. I enjoyed Marta's daughter, a heroine that can be loved by the readers. In part this book is a

Francine Rivers is my favorite author. Her latest novel, Her Mother's Hope, was not a disappointment. I loved it, and I cannot wait until Her Daughter's Dream releases in September.

These books tell a beautiful generational family drama. Her Mother's Dream starts with Marta's story, whose difficult childhood sends her traveling to reach her dreams.
