I don't know what to think about this series. I have trouble with the concept not the story itself. I don't care for reality television and honestly don't see the appeal. I'm also not much on dystopia in general so why did I read this book you ask? Well after reading The Hunger Games, I vowed to discontinue this series. This book begins a few months after the end of the Hunger Games. Katniss is trying to figure out what to do with herself now that she is a victor when she gets a menacing visit from President Snow before the start of her victory tour. it took a little while for things to get going in the book. I like that there was more of a political element to the story this time around. Quite a cliffhanger. I'm glad I already have the next book in the series ready to go.

It's a rare thing when a sequel, or 2nd book in a trilogy to be more exact, is better than the first, but that is exactly the case here. Just outstanding!!

I can't add anything more to the discussion. Really well-written. I love the cliff-hanger ending! And the big surprise at the end (which I probably should have seen coming.). On to the third!
