From the moment that Katniss and the other tributes get rescued from the Hunger games arena and taken to recover in District 13 I had to wonder if it was not a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire. As far as I could see, Katniss seeme to be swapping one oppresive militaristic totalitarian regime for another. Albeit, without the glam.

I guess I just felt let down by the final book in this trilogy. I absolutely LOVED the first two and started this one with high expectations. Instead, I got a Katniss that spends most of the book in a drug-induced haze and sequestered in the hospital recovering from wounds. And come on!-would she really chose to stay with Peeta after his brainwashed attempt to kill her? Sure, he seems "cured" but when would a memory cause him to snap again?
