Can I just say, the dialogue!

Rereading after four years, and this book is still as amazing, magnificent, heart wrenching, beautiful, marvelous, nothing-ever-compares ~~watch me pile up a bunch of adjectives on top of each other because I can’t begin to put into words my feelings after reading this masterpiece~~ as when I first read it. Not that the book’s changed, but I have.

OK so I didn't want to read this book... I don't believe in God so reading a book about angels? Yeah... NO.

But I met this girl online, Angel (yeah pretty funny I know), and she loved this series and each month we pick a book for each other. And she picked this one for me... I wasn't too thrilled about it but I trust her.

This book was amazing! I loved the ambiance. It reminded me of Walking Dead for some reasons.

This was good. I think the pacing was maybe a little bit off, there was a few times when I super bored even though I liked the plot and the characters. I really like Penryn and Raffe, their banter was hilarious. I didn't even mind that there was some traveling parts that usually bore me to tears since they were so funny. I liked what Penryn's mom added to the story, there was some times when I thought maybe she was right about some of the things she thought were going on. I will definitely read ...more
