Nikki the Sapphired Book Dragon AKA NixieNut
This book wasn't quite what I expected and I think that was a good thing and meant that I enjoyed it more than I expected too also. For one thing it was an extremely quick and easier read even when there was tension and action, i found myself being pulled into the story pretty quickly and interested in the characters and what was happening to them. I am still not sure sure I am 100% on board with the premise, but I am definitely interested to see where it will go.

An enjoyable read and a series i

I enjoyed this more than I expected to. The synopsis had me only mildly curious but once I got started, I was quickly intrigued.
I like the characters Penryn and Raffe. It takes awhile as they needed to grow on my, but with the first 1/3 of the book I was happy with them. I don't really like angel novels, but I've seen a lot of good reviews about this book so decided to give it a try. I was surprised by how quickly I got into the story. There were a couple of times the story wasn't as gripping as it could have been, but overall it was really good and the ending left me wanting to read the sequel.

I received a complimentary copy of this book to review. I was asked to give my honest opinion of the book - which I have done.

An unexpected gem almost lost in the amount of paranormal/dystopian/ya books available these days. I thought the characters in this book were much more interesting than I had anticipated.

For some reason it never occurred to me that a book titled Angelfall would be about angels, fallen angels at that. Truly surprised me. I don't think I've ever read about angels before and quite frankly, this wasn't the book to convert me to suddenly searching them out. It was okay, held my interest, didn't get too preachy, kept the silly romance to a minimum. :D Good but not great. ...more
