There were some funny moments. Alexia is a soulless and she can be a danger to the paranormals and she doesn't do too bad with her parasol but she just can'thelp what comessage out of her mouth as well. LOL

A rogue vampire tries to feed off Alexia but since he had no idea about who she was he ends up dead and Alexia becomes an interest to everyone but especially Lord Maccon, who an alpha werewolf and leader of the BUR.

Things lead to another everyone wants to find out who is making all these rog

I had really high expectations on this book, since I've only heard good things from people I know. And I'm glad to say that I wasn't disappointed:) It was funny, sweet and special. I'm so happy I have the entire series at home already:) ...more

Loved every minute of it-so much so, that I sat down to devour this in one day. Alexia, Lord Maccon and the rest of the gang were just so quirky, sarcastic and entertaining. I found the whole Victorian supernatural courtship between Alexia, the soulless, and Lord Maccon, the Alpha werewolf, so comical as they figured out each other's romantic cues. I haven't been so entertained by a book in a long time so I will certainly be looking for the rest of this series.

Just as fun the second time around.

The BUR agents, Lord Maccon and his beta, Professor Lyle, show up to investigate. How did they get here so quick? They are both werewolves. As usual, Lord Maccon is upset with her. She did not mean to kill this vampire. He did not understand that he could not feed from her because she is soulless. The vampires lose their fangs when near her. Why was he ...more

I had many problems with this book... It was dull. Sometimes I had to repeat with reading a paragraph, because I couldn't stay aware of what I read. It was meaningless...

I read that she is soulless and had Italian father too many times! Why exactly was this so important?!? You could say that once, twice and this could be enough...

With some writing corrections this book could be much better like it was!
