So much fun stuff in this.
I find myself at a loss for how to review this book. Many Goodreads friends have recommended this book and others seem to absolutely love it. I liked it, but didn’t love it. The story was sound, but the overuse of SAT words made me feel inadequate as I listened to the book. The world built for this series is interesting, but I found myself not understanding how a soulless person seems to have so much compassion and empathy. This is definitely not something I would normally read, but I found it very unique and interesting, plus I love the sass of the main character. I will for sure check out the next book in the series eventually.
