It was pretty good. I loved the mystery, the descriptions and the characters. I had the feeling that the book was written like it was a movie. Sometimes, the narrator would hide things from us to build a suspence and it was kinda like in a movie. Sometimes, things were quickly explained or happening it was a little bit weird and that's why I don't give a note of 4 stars.

Even though this isn’t a fantasy novel, I feel as though the story weaves itself as if there’s magic to be found throughout the pages. I really loved this book and thought the author did a great job at telling their story. The writing flowed really well and I never felt as though it was dragging itself along, which is a big pet peeve of mine. However, I did only rate it four stars because of the ending.
