For me, it's an eye-opening novel to be read by women of plus-size. It depicts the roller coaster ride of trying to lose weight and fit in on society's standards and definition of beauty. The message of this book is: love yourself, fats and all. You don't have to please all people, not even your parents. It's your life, so live it the way you want. ...more
