What Members Thought
Just as adorable and hilarious as always. Anne-with-an-E is the best chatterbox I know. She always makes me smile and laugh my guts out. Yet, tears are always shed in the reading of this book too.
This was such a cute story with wonderful characters. I thought it was interesting that most of the events were narrated by Anne as she related them to Marilla or Matthew instead of actually seeing Anne experience them. It really brought out Anne's vivacious personality that way.

There is absolutely nothing I can say to tout this classic anymore than the million reviews here on Goodreads. If you haven't read it, you must no matter what your age. I loved every single page of it. I watched the movie version with Colleen Dewhurst as Marilla a million years ago with my daughter and we absolutely loved every minute of it, but there is nothing that compares to reading it. Such a beautiful, beautiful bucolic, fun read. Perfect summer porch read.
