An extraodinary work by a new author. Emotionally gripping. One of the best books I've ever read.
Amir is the son of a wealthy, powerful, influential, larger-than-life Baba, and friends with Hassan, the son of Ali (Baba's servant). This book really had potential. Unfortunatly in fell short of what it could have been. While I didnt dislike this book I just felt like it shoud get better at then end of every chapter and it just didnt. By the time I was about halfway through it I was gettin a little irritated at how many times the author threw in Afghani words and then said what they meant in english later in the sentance.
