This was a totally different world...

Wow what can I say!?! At first I was a little hesitant. It's not my usual genre and to be honest I got to a part of the story and was horrified. Might need a trigger warning on that book. But i persisted.

And i am so glad i did. The emotions that this book brought out in me were heavy and uncontrollable. I'm still crying. I have recommended it to my husband.

The author has done a fantastic job on this story and I'm looking forward to reading more of his works.

I’ve been required to read this book many times in my life and I just never could get into it. Love learning about another culture through literature, am not at all anti-pop lit, want to support physician authors but... it’s just so, so cliche and the literary devices are way too obvious.
