Read this aloud to my husband, this is the memoir of Micah and Nicholas Sparks' trip around the world together interspersed with their childhood growing up with a younger sister.
How they survived childhood and their unique bond as brothers makes for compelling reading. Their experiences throughout their lives also explain how Nicholas Sparks can write the touching and moving novels he does. Their lives have not been easy, but they are strong men with indomitable spirits.

Although I knew of Nicholas Sparks and saw a couple of his movies in the 90s, I don't think until recently did I read any of his books. I've enjoyed what I read; most of which I listened to as an audiobook. This is his the autobiography/memoir of his life and a trip around the world that he took with his brother, Micah. I have read all of Nicholas Sparks books and I was excited to read the memoir to get a glimpse of his life. The novel is a true testment of what a person and family can go through and survie. I enjoyed how each chapter alternated between the present trip and the past members which were thought about through out the entire journey.
Interesting way of revealing events of author's life.
