Precisely what possessed me to have a look at ##2+3, right after I got tired of #1? Ughhh, curiousity killed the cat and made me read a large chunk of the 50 shades trilogy, thus surely killing a lot of unlucky braincells of mine .

I don't like how this book makes me feel - creeping into my mind, stalking me everywhere I go. I cannot look at tea, wine, ties, satin, audi's or saab's, the word "fifty", men in suits, men with broad shoulders, men in general....I can't look at any of these without thinking of the book. I felt this way (somewhat) after reading "The Hunger Games" but that was more of a "down-with-the-capital!!!" kind of thing; an "if-it-was-me-I'd-die-in-the-games-do-I'd-better-get-in-shape" thing. Overall storyline dropped to 3.5*
For approximately 1/2 of the book, I felt as if author simply regurgitated 1st book. Others have mentioned repetition in the simplistic (at times) dialogue & yes; it got very difficult to continue reading. And the sub-goddess thing hit my last nerve on pg 108; enough with the gymnastics metaphors please!
This book added much more drama. Seemed over-the-top & nonstop.

There were parts I liked and parts I didn't care for with this one.
I all but skipped through some of the sex scenes, I guess they were just getting boring.
But I did like how there was actually a plot to this one, it wasn't just sex, sex, sex (not that there is anything wrong with that LoL but I like it to have more of a story to go along with it).

Definitely better than the first, but it might be sad that I think I liked this one better because there was actually less sex than the first. Oh well...
