4 stars. Not as good as the third book but it was still really, really good.
I thought the third book was character driven but this one was even more so. It's a great character piece on Roland. Everything gets so much more complex and complicated in this book but it was still a very entertaining read. Wizard and Glass was the volume from The Dark Tower that I feared to re-read the most because even though the last part makes me cry the most, this however has some pretty painful scenes, especially when you have read all the books and know Roland already so well that it hurts to read about Susan and Roland's mother. And reading this makes me always miss Alain and Cuthbert so damn much. For me one of the most memorable scenes in this book has always been when Susan's aunt burns the stuffy-gal. I
