The third installment in this series was not as good as the second book in my opinion, but still definitely better than the first one. I found this story okay.
I guess I liked the symmetrical structure of the previous book more, in this one there are two parallel plots that connect at some point. This book is primarily the return of Jake, who is a very significant character in this book. He is the main axis and driving force behind this story.

5 stars. Superb. Freakin' superb. Loved it so much that I changed my GR profile pic to a photo from the book. Yeah, that's a thing that happened and I have 0 regrets about it. I'm obsessed with it so it's cool. Whatever.

The last time I read The Waste Land was about ten years ago and I read it in Finnish. I didn't remember everything, but this second reading experience was a bit more emotional because I've learned to love these characters so much. But I really hate the riddles because I'm so bad at those but I still have to stop and try to solve them.
