In A Sunburned Country is Bill Bryson's eighth book and he adds more fans with every one. I definitely enjoyed this cleverly written travelogue about Australia, punctuated with lots of local and obscure Australian history. Bryson is a keen observer of the flora and fauna of Australia, mentioning that the country has "more things that will kill you than anywhere else."
