I read some of the comments by others that have read this book and wow! I enjoyed this book. It's not some heavy drama where the reader constantly has to think. Her father took her away from her mother and then plopped her in a boarding school when he didn't feel like parenting anymore. She puts herself through colleg ...more

Funny romp from DC, to Miami, to Georgia. Legal shenanigans, home repairs, odd parents and a cranky senior citizen all conspire to drive Dempsey Killebrew crazy, will she find her bliss?

4.5 stars. This book was an absolute treat! The main characters were likable, I loved the flipping house concept, the story line moved nicely and kept me interested the whole time. 400+ pages and I finished it in about 3 days. My only criticism: there were a lot of loose ends. Yeah, we know the gist of what is going to be happening and to an extent, I like that it is left to my imagination...but I was expecting more.
