Not in my normal genre at all! Most science fiction normally goes straight over my head, but this was right up my street. I really enjoyed the world building and loved the development of Ender as a character. And the end was spot on! Will definitely read some more books in this series.

I'd never have guessed I would like this book as much as I do. Sure, I like my dystopian storylines about children or teens trying to save the world, but I don't like too much violence, military aspects or cruelty. Of all of those there's more then enough to be found in Enders Game. But in this book it was fitting, somehow. I'm reluctant on reading any of the sequels, since I loved this one.
