I loved this start to the series. This is the first time I have read Jenn McKinlay and I am sure it won't be the last. I love the main character Lindsey who is a newcomer to town and I like Beth her assistant and friend. Of course I wish we could just get rid of Chief Daniels. Maybe the detective will fall in love with one of the girls and decide to run for Chief. I loved all the side characters in town and would love to have a bowl of chowder or sit and knit with the crafting group. The story l ...more

This would be my dream job, being a librarian, where I can be around all the lovely books and I have to say having moved to a place where you can have such good friends who care about you and you for them. Lindsey has definitely come across something and is willing to do whatever she can to help clear her friend but then another body appears.
