What Members Thought
I always enjoy reading Pride and Prejudice. I love the characters and plot. I think that they are very well written. Jane Austen is such a talented writer. Once I got started it was hard to put down. It was kind of a quick read. I would have had to done sooner, but work and life got in the way.
So I feel like I'm going to get things thrown at me when I write this review but it's fine.
3 stars.
First half: 2 stars. Second half: 4 stars.
Listened to this on audio, the audio edition with Rosamund Pike narrating. She did a great job and I think she also narrated a few other Jane Austen books as well, so I'll definitely listen those.
I really wanted to love this. This is a time period I'm interested in, written by someone who was a lot closer to that time period than I am, and it's a romance ...more
