4 Elizabeth Bennet stars!
I know many would think of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy when they thought about this book, but I’d make a difference here. I loved both the characters, but Elizabeth overpowered Mr. Darcy for me. She is indisputably one of my favorite female characters till date.

I love this book! Mr. Bennet is one of my favourite characters, I love his wit, wisdom and charm. Even though he is severe on his two youngest children, he is right; they are incredibly silly for their age and immature, and shouldn't be out in public for they can easily fall prey to a scandal.

One of the most famous romances, and a book which genuinely deserves it's acclaim. I must have read this 10 times - at least! Elizabeth and Mr Darcy are a brilliant couple, and I like that neither are overly sentimental. The courtship is beautiful and fits the regency period splendidly - i've read modern adaptations before, but they just don't seem to work for me.
