Very good history of the Sidiqi family of Kabul and the life they led under the rule of the Taliban. Educated (17 year-old) Kamila feels very constrained and limited by the restrictions of the Taliban. She knows her family needs money and so with the help of her 8 sisters and younger brother (her chaperone and escort for trips to markets) she starts a dressmaking shop and "school".
