Not bad, but I sort of figured out the killer when the person was first introduced. There was something about them that didn't sit right. I gave this book 2 ½ stars and have rounded to 3. I am not sure if I will continue with this series. I did not like the writing or especially care for any of the characters. Ruth annoyed me with her constant complaint of her weight and how lonely that she was. She did not attempt to socialize and preferred to stay in her home alone. It also appears a little strange to me that she is an archaeologist but is asked to help solve a current kidnapping/murder mystery.
