This is the fifth book in the Camel Club series by David Baldacci. I listened to this on audiobook and, I have to say, it took a bit of concentration due to the complexity of the storyline.

A bomb goes off in Lafayette Park - directly across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House. Because of the location of the park, the jurisdictional challenges are enormous with the Secret Service, Homeland Security, the Park Service and the FBI as well as the DC Police all responsible for different pieces of

Oliver Stone, AKA John Carr, is standing in Lafayette Park looking at the White House maybe for the last time. The President has asked Carr to use Triple Six skills on a dangerous covert mission. Oliver Stone is back in David Baldacci's final Camel Club novel, Hell's Corner. Oliver is asked back into service by the President, but on the way there he is nearly killed in a bombing very close to the White House. The next day, he gets a new partner from Britian’s MI6 named Mary Chapman. What follows is a very com

Another classic page-turner from Baldacci; Oliver Stone and the Camel Club members work together to figure out a bombing in Lafayette Park. Added to the mix is M16 agent Mary Chapman, who is formidable in her own right. Twists and turns abound, and figuring out the good guys from the bad guys isn't easy, but definitely a satisfying read. ...more

Oh my gosh, I loved this one. My one issue with it is Oliver Stone's unwillingness to take credit when he is given compliments. It gets annoying. Some humility is good, but he goes to the way extreme and it drives me crazy. Also, his whole "carry the weight of the world on my shoulders" thing.

But other than that, FANTASTIC!
