I dare anyone to read this book and not take a good hard look at their own life. I probably would not have chosen it off a bookshelf, but I'm very glad by bookclub did because it led to some interesting discussion and a lot of thinking. A book I picked up in Sanibel, intending to read and contemplate while on the beach. Years later I finally start the beach read in beautiful Sint Maarten. A humorous book, which quietly slips in "moments of enlightenment". There was no "AHA!" moment in the book for me, but I think it will stick with me for some time as I do try to live more simply, more peacefully and more intentionally.

There were a few good moments, but the good moments were separated by far too many artificial and slightly unrealistic moments for my liking. The good bits were captivating - the rest of the book was difficult to continue reading.
