(Just a warning about this edition: There are spoilers in the Intro)!
There were parts I loved and there were parts I was bored by. But that has to be expected with an 800 page book.
I guess my only complaint is that I wish the story would have focused more on Anna than Levin, especially given that the book is named after her. I loved Anna, despite her flaws. I could relate to ...more

Wow! The book carries a very heavy tag with it - one of the best novels that the world has seen. And honestly, it holds up to it. Every bit of it.
While the name of the novel is Anna Karenina, it is not only about Anna. The book belongs equally to the rest of the resplendent characters: Vronsky, Levin and Stiva. The character journey that they go through in the novel is both epic and memorable.
