Good start to a new mystery series. Lucy Valentine lost her family's gift of matchmaking, but now she can find lost objects. When a lost ring leads her to a dead body, she enlists the help of PI, Sean.

What I enjoyed:
* Lucy gets herself into some crazy situations but doesn't come across as TSTL
* There are great supporting characters in her best friends, her grandmother, pets and chauffeur
* Looking forward to learning more about Sean

What could have been better:
* Surprising how quickly everyone bel

Truly, Madly: A Novel by Heather Webber (2010) - Truly, Madly by Heather Webber was a "truly, wonderful" read! Lucy Valentine, the self-imposed black sheep of a family filled with 'Cupid Cursed' matchmakers, is a loveable character that readers of Janet Evanovich, Charlaine Harris and the like will quickly become devoted to. Webber's story was full of fun plot twists and turns with lots of love and adventure for Lucy. Fans of Stephanie Plum will quickly take to Lucy and her 3 legged cat and 1 ey ...more

I received this ARC through Goodreads. I really enjoyed Lucy Valentine as a character - she was fun and smart, and she handled the challenges that were thrown at her. I thought the pace of the book was good - I finished it in one session. And although I'm not a big fan of lighter reading, I would definitely read more by Heather Webber. ...more

During her temporary stint as a matchmaker, psychic Lucy Valentine stumbles on the knowledge of a skeleton buried in a local park. Thus starts an interesting mystery wrapped in a romance when PI Sean Donahue gets involved. Is there any such thing as "love at first sight"? After her initial encounter with Sean, Lucy desperately needs an answer.

A cute and funny romantic mystery that is a quick enjoyable read.

I really loved this book!! The cast of supporting characters are quirky, yet so real. You immediately fall in love with Lucy, the main character. Yes, she has a special psychic gift, but the author does such a great job of making her likable and believable. She also develops a perfect romance that has you cheering for Lucy and Sean from the moment they first meet. The mystery side had me guessing until the very end. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
