I love Janet Evanovich and this book, Love In a Nutshell, was just what I needed...a quick rom-com for the weekend. After losing her job, Kate Appleton moves back to her childhood home and wants to update and convert it to a B&B. However, she needs a job in order to pay for all that needs to be done. My score is really 2.5. I liked the story well enough, however I felt like some of the side stories weren't wrapped up for the amount of detail that was given about them during the main story.
If those side stories were tidied up a bit for closure purposes, my rating would have gone closer to a 4. ...more
