What Members Thought
Another sort of "meh" in the series - yet I continue to scarf them down. My guess is that Harris is under great pressure to keep pumping these out and it really hurts plot development. As most reviewers of this book stated, the real story doesn't even get underway until halfway through. A whole new cast of characters are added in the New Orleans vampire and witch communities - giving Sookie more people who either want to help her or kill her. A typical Sookie Stackhouse story. It always amazes me how one person can find so much trouble. I look forward to her next book to see how her relationship with Quinn is working out.
