Hands down, Psychological thrillers are my absolute favorite genre. Before I go to Sleep was suggested by a good friend of mine two years ago. Since then, it has been sitting on my shelf staring at me and finally I read it. I regret for not reading it sooner. This is the type of book that I’m always on the lookout for. Watson’s debut is stunning.

This is my second time reading this book. I know that I enjoyed it more the first time. This time, I think the violence put me off more. It was pretty sick what happens to the main character, and I guess I forgot that the first time. I also saw the movie version for the first time right after reading the book and it was pretty violent too. I read it again because it was my book club's book. I found that the discussion quickly moved from the book, which many did not finish because of the graphic

I have somehow let this book, and the movie that followed, pass me by for far too long. I've really grown to love a thriller recently and i must say this novel keeps you guessing and building up to the end really, really, nicely. I loved all the characters a lot, Chris has a lot of kudos from me living with this all that time. So well written i implore you to read it if you too, let this sit on your 'to-read' pile for a while.

Really very good. At first all I could think of was the movie 50 First Dates, but you can see quickly that this is not a funny tale. I do not usually feel he "creep factor" in most books but this one got me. I actually put the book down at the pivotal point because I was getting chills. Cannot believe this is a first time author.

Predictable and a bunch could have been cut out I'm sure.

I couldn't give this story any more than 3 stars. Sorry! This story dragged and I found myself wanting to put it down until the last few chapters when things finally came together to tell the reader what was finally going on! Not too thrilled with this "thriller"!
