This reminded me too much of the movie 50 First Dates with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler but with a sinister twist. I enjoyed the book though I found it to be repetitive but I guess that was the point. I figured one of the main characters was lying his butt off and I kept reading to see which one. A good psychological read which you will enjoy more if you haven't watched 50 First Dates.

Fascinating book about a woman who has both long-term and short-term amnesia, so it is a twist on Groundhog Day, 50 First Dates and Still Alice.
Likes:
* Quick but interesting read, though it was slow in a few parts (when she is confused and rediscovering things), it was very enjoyable
* Christine's confusion and thirst for her past are palpable
* Dr. Nash was great and I loved his perceptions and daily calls/talks

This kept me guessing until about two thirds of the way when I cottoned on to what was happening. It meant the end was still exciting but not as exciting as if I hadn't figured it out. It is a good book, but not the kind of book you could go back and re-read

Well it took me an absolute age to listen to this audio book during my journeys to and from work but I absolutely loved this book. Strong, gripping writing with plenty of suspense right to the end.
Look forward to reading more by S J Watson ! !
