What an amazing story! I usually struggle through the classics, but this one kept my attention despite it's length. Edmund Dantes is a young sailor who ends up on the wrong end of some evil men, is put in jail, and promises his revenge. Over 20 years later he is reincarnated as The Count of Monte Cristo. The cunning manipulation, the detailed planning, the genius -- the Count learned a lot about human weaknesses and preyed on his enemies with such skill! Oh, and a great ending to boot!!
