I have never read Around the World in Eighty Days and I have to say, the biggest shock came immediately upon the discovery that it is Phileas Fogg and not Phineas Fogg! Why I am familiar with that name at all, never having read the book, I have no idea but I would have bet my last dollar that his name was Phineas and it took me quite some time to come to grips with Phileas. Fantastical journey by an Englishman and his french servant, trying to win a bet to travel around the world in 80 days or less. There were so many adventures, many obstacles, much perseverance and ingenuity. I really enjoyed this tale and can't believe I never read it before. And what a great ending!!!
