I loved this book! I couldn't put it down! Getting a glimpse of the 1960's in Jackson, Mississippi and learning about the lives of some wonderful characters. I found it very engaging! A book club could have a great discussion with this one!

5 stars both times read. I read this book back in 2012, watched the movie (finally in May 2024) and listened to the audiobook earlier in July, 2024. And loved it, each time.
