It would difficult for me to say that I liked this book—the characters were all so extremely unlikeable—but I did find it very compelling. In fact, once I got into it, I found it hard to put down. Frank and April Wheeler are a middle class couple in the 1950s who see themselves as being above their boring middle class neighborhood on Revolutionary Road.
