This book was cute and made me smile at times but I can't say I believed the romance. The overall tone of the romance was a bit too silly so I couldn't get worked up with the later part of the plot and really didn't get why these two people fell in love.

The main character's stay in the castle is dragged out for over a week. She has no interaction with her peers other than the prince and a societal outcast she befriends - th

This was a very cute retelling of Cinderella! The only thing that was different than the original, besides there being no magic involved, was that she met the Prince before the ball. However, it added to the story which was ok. I didn't really care for the Prince though, he just seemed like a horn-dog to me the entire time.
