I'm going to start by saying that I've read too many Jodi Picoult novels. This is not a bad thing...I love her. However, when I first started reading this one I seriously had to question myself as to whether I had read it before...turns out, no. I love her writing, but a lot of the plot lines from her different books seem to interweave - either with characters or events. I started reading this book on 07/18/2009. I finished reading this book on 08/06/2009.

Whew...I'm so glad I finished this book. For some reason I just couldn't get into it at first. So it took me almost a whole month to read it. But I got through it and I'm so glad I did. I loved the ending in the book and I can't say that about many books. It's not my favorite Picoult book but it was still good. ...more

As always, Ms. Picoult explores some intense issues without preaching or taking sides. An excellent read with lots of twists and turns.
