I think I liked this book better than the first one. This book was like two or even three stories in one. There is the murder at Sam's bar. There are the crazy fanatics in Dallas. And then there is the beginning of a potential love triangle (maybe??) between Sookie, Bill, and *gasp* Eric! We almost had some Sam love before and we thought maybe that would be a thing but now there's a whole new direction! So....for this book it started off rather exciting and then lulled a bit. Eigentlich passt es Sookie gar nicht, dass Eric sie an einen Vampirclan in Dallas ausleiht, aber wenn schon ein Arbeitskollege tot im Auto des hiesigen Sheriffs liegt und ein Wesen aus der griechischen Mythologie einem den Rücken zerkratzt, warum dann nicht als Austauschmedium einen Trip nach Texas machen?
