Young malleable Lucy Honeychurch and her cousin, Charlotte, are visiting Florence, Italy and staying at a Pensione with other British tourists. This was much lighter reading than I expected. Enjoyed it but once I realized this wasn't some ponderous novel, I expected it to have a few more sillier moments. Still, a very good read.
