I hate to say this, but this book almost only got 2 stars from me. Nothing to do with the story concept. That I still love, but I hate how the author butchered it. To start, the first 40 plus pages in nothing but an introduction and the authors first chapter, which has to cover how he got into the story, how he liked sports, how he became an author, and movie writer..blah blah blah. I confess, I'm one of the few people I know that have never read this tale or seen the movie but even I know 'My name is Inigo Montero and you killed my father!'; Dread pirate Roberts; and 'as you wish.' I was excited to start this read.

By the time I got to the end of this book I was thoroughly exhausted. The story of Buttercup and Westley/Farm Boy is there but it's buried among spouted distracting factoids that presented little to no relevance to the story (mostly no relevanc

A sick boy is read a fairytale by his grandfather. The fairytale is about Buttercup and Westley, a beautiful woman and a farm boy who fall in love then struggle to be together.
